Are you insured?

Yes - we're fully insured with public liability and workers compensation cover, and we follow safe work practices on every job. We'll happily provide a current certificate of currency before we start. Never let an uninsured operator work on a tree near your home: if they damage your roof, your insurer won't cover it.

Do I need council approval to remove a tree?

Accepted Answer

Usually yes. Most Central Coast Council areas protect trees over a certain size under a Tree Preservation Order. There are exemptions for dead, dying, dangerous or some pest species. We assess the tree on-site, tell you straight whether you need a permit, and prepare and lodge the application for you if you do.

How quickly can you respond to an emergency?

For storm callouts we aim to be on the road within the hour and on-site within two hours from anywhere on the Coast. Call our 24/7 line - don't email - for anything urgent.

What qualifications do you hold?

The crew is fully ticketed and trained in chainsaw cross-cut and tree-felling, EWP (Elevated Work Platform) operation, climbing, chipping operations and first aid. We carry public liability insurance and full workers comp, and we'll happily email a certificate of currency before we start.

Will you clean up the mess?

Yes. Every quote includes complete clean-up - branches chipped, logs cut and stacked or removed, sawdust raked, driveway swept. We leave the site tidier than we found it.

How is a quote worked out?

Accepted Answer

We come to site, look at the tree, the access, what's underneath it and how it needs to come down. Then we give you a fixed written quote - no hidden hourly rates. Most quotes are emailed the same day.

Do you do small jobs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A single overhanging branch or one stump is fine. We have minimum callout pricing - usually it pays to bundle a few small jobs into one visit, which we'll suggest when we quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfer, card or cash on completion. We invoice on the day with payment terms of 7 days for residential work. Insurance jobs can be invoiced directly to your insurer.
